Trip Planner: South America / Colombia / Antioquia Department / Puerto Triunfo / Parque Tematico Hacienda Napoles
Explore Parque Tematico Hacienda Napoles, the estate of the infamous Colombian drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar. After his death in 1993, the luxurious 20 sq km (7.7 sq mi) complex fell into the hands of the government and is now open to the public. The mansion he lived in was partially demolished, and the estate was turned into a theme park. Visit the small museum and learn about Escobar’s life. As you explore the eclectic compound, you can see rare trees and plants, admire the butterfly garden, lounge by the pool, and view a replica of Escobar’s first airplane. Take a look at our Puerto Triunfo day trip planning tool to schedule your visit to Parque Tematico Hacienda Napoles and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

The best are aquatic, very fun, safe and well cared for, the only parks but would be the Tyrolean q is close to wild river, this all rusty, even get to lock once. also it makes me quite expensive entry, compared with other parks in the country, Vanesa is a beauty, but I think that should give breaks people, one hour every two hours, or something like that, as consequence of living for long periods in the Sun getting food can be seen bleeding on his back. of rest is a great Park for families, runs fast, it is very fun and explanatory, friendly staff with space for all members of the family, also help to understand the history of the original owner of the ranch and as took your life , albeit from a somewhat impartial point.

They have water attractions (Victoria Falls and Octupus) enjoyed much as warm weather in the region and there is the option of the museums and the animals that are in place. In addition to the cost of the entry (the cost depends on the activities that are going to make) should be paid by entering the vehicle (recommended to do the tour in the car because some animals are loose and it looks like a safari). The power supply within the place is not very good but it is not expensive, there are several restaurant options so you can choose what best suits

The food is expensive and to my taste bad. The traditional ice cream store, are the most expensive thing I have purchased. Service in general leaves a lot to be desired. It is to go once and remove from the list of outstanding.
Visited just after thanksgiving. We took a bus from Medellin just a little over 3 hours time to get there. Nice trip to see the Country side and the quarry mining going on. The most expensive part was the ride in and out of the Hacienda we paid $80 U.S. for three people on a motor cart. Over all seeing the animals on the way in is nice. Getting lunch before going over to water park is nice also. The Water park wasn't fully operational but the big slides were. We were in our late 20's and my friend and girl wouldn't go down some slides LOL. I watched alot of Netflix series on pablo and suviving escobar plus 30 30 special 0n the two escobar's.
Very clean and well maintained. Not sure about building a water park on an ex drug lair with plenty of dark history and museum. Also Finca shares the property with a prison, but if you can wrap your head around that combo, it is a fascinating history of a very sad and dangerous time in Columbian history. Glad to be able to travel around and feel safe again.
The Hacienda Napoles was the maximum symbol of the Narcoterrorist Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria chief of extinct poster of medellín, today is a theme park, has a zoo and aquatic attractions, the cost of entrance $ 25 US dollars
This place is good for children and for adults. The water park is great specially because is usually very hot in the area and you can go in there and get cool down. If you like birds this is a place you must check out.
Really impressed with the size. A must visit. Plan to spend an entire day traveling to and from Medellín/Ríonegro.
