  • It should clarify that this is not the BioPark ucumari. It is a place of incredible ambiance where you can admire the wide and beautiful flora and fauna of the Park of the valleys. Important carry hydration and remember that it is a difficult path, good Footwear.

  • I'll start by clarifying that this is not the theme park where is the new Zoo. "Regional natural park hunted" = nature, forests, birds, walking, adventure, Pereira via PNN snowy. "Theme park hunted" = Zoo, Pereira via cerritos. This is a natural and FREE site on the road to the National Park natural los Nevados entering village of Florida. Is the best site in Pereira for the adventurous, walkers and photographers. Reach this site isn't easy but is totally rewarding and full of forests and nature. To get take a bus ladder or "chiva" from Pereira "out at 7 am, 9 am, 12 m and 3 pm" and takes about an hour and half to two hours reach the sector of el Cedral where the road ends. From there you must begin to walk about 2-3 hours between forests by a well demarcated route and close to the Otún River up to the visitor centre, where you can camp, staying in the hotel or simply eat something and rest. From there you can take several routes between forests towards different waterfalls, or you can continue towards the Otún Lake or the Nevados del Ruiz and Santa Isabel. As nature lover I give a 10/10 score recommendations:-change clothes and go well warm with waterproof elements since it is an extremely rainy area. -Bring liquids to hydrate. -If they do not carry food the food must be booked before you go. -Camping and hotel have very favorable costs, but it is good to book before. -take photographic or video camera. -There is no electricity so flashlights should be. -Everything you bring must return with us including garbage to preserve the natural site. -If go to camping, make sure the tent is waterproof and carry plastic to avoid the rain and cold. -fires, can be but only in prepared areas next to the tents, and switch them off well always. -enjoy and preserve the site without extracting plant elements or animals. Do not hesitate to visit this site. It is a natural paradise close to Pereira. It is one of the sites that I like going to walk and see different species of animals and plants. Remember that income HAS NOT COST.
