  • A place of unique beauty. After two hours of walking at a relaxed pace reached the lookout, although wind sticks very strong walk is not very demanding. You can get up to there on horseback, which is good idea if you don't have good physical condition, because the last 400 meters of descent to the Lake are VERY draining. We were fortunate that the Lake is paved and let us appreciate its beauty.

  • Túquerres is derivation of the pre-Columbian indigenous word of Túquerres belonging to the ethnic group of the grass. The area where is this town was inhabited by the pastures while the of the city of Pasto was inhabited by the Quillacingas which is sometimes confusing. Túquerres is a volombiano municipality located in the Department of Nariño. This city is an important commercial centre of a vast agricultural region in the knot of the pastures of the mountain range of the Andes in the savanna of the same name; characterized by its scenic beauty and friendliness of its people, culture, folklore, gastronomy and its main tourist attraction: the Azufral volcano which is easily accessible. It should be noted that it is the fourth largest municipality in the Department and is economic, commercial and financial epicenter to smaller as Guaitarilla, Ospina, Imues, Samaniego Sapuyes, among other municipalities

  • A place full of magic! Incredible hike, sight, the smell of sulphur. Was single in a day very rainy, the transport of the village to the cabin of home I cost ida and turned 50,000 is much money but is to 14 km of the village, if van in company leaves much more cheap. The walk is quiet, would say that it is a grade 3. It has three lakes, all beautiful, but the blue is otherworldly.
