Established by a collective of Colombian coffee growers in 1995, Parque del Cafe aims to educate adults about coffee, while also providing an entertaining environment for children. Enjoy adrenalin-pumping rides like the Krater and Aquatic Mountain, or go for an educational experience at one of many coffee-themed museums and demonstrations. Take a spin on the longest roller coaster in Colombia--perhaps symbolic of the ups and downs of drinking too much coffee. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka i mitten av detta underbara landskap. We discovered a well organized amusement park where we could teach us a lot about the Colombian coffee culture and learned to appreciate all of the work behind a good coffee cup!

General comments: interactive coffee Museum: worth a go and make the journey by this museum showing the entire process from the cultivation of coffee up to the production of grain and its export. In some areas you have possibility to interact and learn a little more. Roller coaster krater: very good adrenaline feeling. To achieve a greater flow of people recommend placing any kind of security in the upper part of the body. Fast: very good aquatic attraction. It would be advisable to take the walls of travel by placing messages alluding to the Park of coffee, Quindio Colombia and of course, since this park is visited by many foreign tourists. Entry of pets: earned an additional point allowing entry of pets provided they carried their entry ballot Necklace: consider it relevant that they restore the option of having tickets at the box office for those people who only want to do the tour of the Park and enjoy its facilities without mechanical attractions.
It's a nice intention to try to present to the public what the Growing Coffee Area is about. The explanation is only given in 3D. As the name suggests, Parque del Café, the theme should be more present and much better presented to the public in order to make the growing proccess, the production, and the meaning of coffee more approachable to the people. The topic shouldn't be neglected only to some representatives or haciendas. On the other hand it's understandable that the park is an attraction one, which is the perfect way to combine fun with interactive education. The only thing we really didn't like was the monopolized representation of the Colombian coffee. Juan Valdez is not the only brand that is being produced in the country, and the park should represent coffee in general not only one!
Great fun, tourist friendly. Don't miss the stage show as this was one of the highlights for me. I would suggest not going on the weekends though, as the lines are very long for all the rides.
I would repeat if I could. The use of a the local guide was a great complement to maximize our time and learn a lot about the process behind a cup of coffe. The restaurant was also pretty good.
