Parque del Cafe, Montenegro

Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web
Established by a collective of Colombian coffee growers in 1995, Parque del Cafe aims to educate adults about coffee, while also providing an entertaining environment for children. Enjoy adrenalin-pumping rides like the Krater and Aquatic Mountain, or go for an educational experience at one of many coffee-themed museums and demonstrations. Take a spin on the longest roller coaster in Colombia--perhaps symbolic of the ups and downs of drinking too much coffee. Put Parque del Cafe into our Montenegro vacation trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Coffee Park mainly offers the opportunity to learn a little more about the coffee culture (in addition to the rides). Museums and coffee show are not to be missed. Preferably you should visit in low seasons.

  • It's a great place for a whole day adventure. It's very spread out so prepare to walk a lot. The coffee popsicle is amazing! Muy rico! A must try!
  • There's so many great things to do at this park. As my first time going there I was amazed if you are going to buy the premium tickets make sure you have plenty of time as I did not get to do the horseback riding. The rides are not like six flags, but are good if you don't like extreme rides, the krater attraction is the more extreme ride. I wish they would have had more seating at the food courts, it gets really packed. Well I went during school break. That area of Colombia is so peaceful and beautiful I would definitely go back!! Must go for tourist.
  • I've wanted to visit the park for a long time and it did not disappoint. There is so much to see I think it's best to spend two days instead of one here so you aren't constantly rushing to the next thing. Check out the Colombian history show at 1PM, it's an amazing show and great history lesson.
  • Great park to visit. Make sure you have comfortable shoes to walk in because there's alot to walk. Very educational park to learn about coffee processing. There's also a nice sky deck with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains.
  • I couldn't decide if it was either 3 or 4 stars. There wasn't many things to do but the attractions they did have were good. There's a LOT of walking. All the attractions were all spread out. Make sure you have comfortable shoes! The parts I really did like was the horseback riding and the Coffee show, they have it only once in a day so make sure you know what time it starts! OH I FORGOT TO ADD! Make sure you go to the photo section there! They make you dress up in typical Colombian outfits from back in the day! So funny!
