Established by a collective of Colombian coffee growers in 1995, Parque del Cafe aims to educate adults about coffee, while also providing an entertaining environment for children. Enjoy adrenalin-pumping rides like the Krater and Aquatic Mountain, or go for an educational experience at one of many coffee-themed museums and demonstrations. Take a spin on the longest roller coaster in Colombia--perhaps symbolic of the ups and downs of drinking too much coffee. Put Parque del Cafe on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Montenegro route planning site .

El parque es sencillamente ESPECTACULAR. El recorrido, los paisajes, la vista, la limpieza, todo es increíble. Hay que hacer este recorrido SI o SI en el eje cafetero. Nosotros fuimos en temporada alt... more »The Park is simply spectacular. Travel, landscapes, sight, cleaning, everything is incredible. We have to make this journey if or if in the coffee. We were in high season and ranks for the attractions are eternal (between 1.5 and 2 hours for the most sought after). It would be advisable to go in the low season, the number of tourists is walking. If the trip is definitely in season then not buy the Passport that includes all activities: insurance will not reach and will lose money on that purchase. With seven (7) enough activities and spare passport. Missed "the coffee show", is a show for the whole family that wakes up thousands of emotions and fills us with pride as Colombians. The food inside the Park is expensive (as in a square of a mall), but they are all options: chicken, meat, fish, soups, Paisa tray, etc... The parking lot is huge, easily accessible and free. I would without hesitation a thousand times, it is a spectacular site. Mandatory use of sunscreen and CAP, makes plenty of sunshine. Important also to arrange meeting points with children and family and be very aware of them, the number of people within the Park is a lot and you get lost children with ease.

I went with my family and from the smallest up to more adult able to enjoy the rides, artistic performances and educational tours which takes the place. I recommend it enough, it was a very cool experience and best of all was riding with my grandmother in the aquatic mountain. I would only suggest to Park have affordable prices for the inhabitants of Montenegro of which most not have enjoyed the Park because of its cost.
It's a best amusement park you can visit, lots of attractions, food, places to buy souvenir. But the best part is the coffee show at 1.30 pm. It's the most wonderful performance one can ever see.
For one not a family park. They only open till six so you won't ride everything. Second I was with my family and met up with them. I was told you can hold a place for a relative. On one of the rides I was told I could not hold a place by a lady. Then I see someone else jump the mine and they did not say anything.
Great family day out in Nov. We brought grandma who had problems walking, they had good ramp and access. Heaps of cafes around the place. The paper map was important.. get two if u can. As some have said.. long walks with super steep slopes. Slap some sun screen and hat. We brought wet wipes to wipe our hands before eating . *Waterproof bag* for the the wet rides... don't think you'll need extra clothes... Bottled water was cheap for us.. We bought it there at the park cafe for around 1-2 usd. I recommend not touching some of the plants - especially the furry bamboo thing.. as I have seen some allergic reactions from a couple of if kids visiting- not great. Parking on the Friday was good. Lots of shopping outside the park for souvenir stuffs. Staff was really helpful.
Great rides, cable car busy at end of the day so recommend using the bus to take you back up. Saved queuing for an hour! Bumper boats were amazing!
Excellent place to share with the whole family. It will take the entire day to enjoy all the attractions, so try to get there as early as possible. It opens at 9 am.

Where to stay in Montenegro
Despite its growing popularity with foreign visitors, Montenegro remains little more than a mountain village with very limited tourist infrastructure. Expect few hotels, and consider checking into a guesthouse near the popular coffee park, which serves as the area's one major attraction. Alternatively, you can stay at one of Montenegro's coffee farms--many rent single rooms or suites with shared cooking and dining areas.
