Parque del Cafe, Montenegro
(4.5/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Established by a collective of Colombian coffee growers in 1995, Parque del Cafe aims to educate adults about coffee, while also providing an entertaining environment for children. Enjoy adrenalin-pumping rides like the Krater and Aquatic Mountain, or go for an educational experience at one of many coffee-themed museums and demonstrations. Take a spin on the longest roller coaster in Colombia--perhaps symbolic of the ups and downs of drinking too much coffee. Put Parque del Cafe into our Montenegro vacation trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • An excellent amusement park very nice and with some very good attractions it is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and if possible carry a couple more in a suitcase since in one of the attractions ...  more »
  • We had visited the Park in the mid-90s coffee. We are now a very different place. COFFEE, became a last plane. The main thing and was very relegated. the coffee Show which is worth $18,000 additional AV input, is a bad copy of the Sonia Osorio Show with Ballet Colombia. You have to do something more original, is the SHAFT CAFETERO POR FAVOR. COFFEE AND COFFEE VIIVES: EXPLOTALO! At the exit of the Show, we find the Park nearly closed because someone committed suicide or sucidaron and was under the internal bridge that connects areas of games. Actually the Park became a site for "Rides", but very little coffee. Them reviews of my children in their second visit: nothing to see

  • For the part of games, because of the (UNCONTROLLED AMOUNT) of flow of people who let, generates DELAYS OF up TO AN HOUR PER GAME), removing attractive.

  • It's a great place for a whole day adventure. It's very spread out so prepare to walk a lot. The coffee popsicle is amazing! Muy rico! A must try!
  • It's a great place to enjoy nature & the attractions around with the family. It gets too crowed tho so it's better to go very early.
  • There's so many great things to do at this park. As my first time going there I was amazed if you are going to buy the premium tickets make sure you have plenty of time as I did not get to do the horseback riding. The rides are not like six flags, but are good if you don't like extreme rides, the krater attraction is the more extreme ride. I wish they would have had more seating at the food courts, it gets really packed. Well I went during school break. That area of Colombia is so peaceful and beautiful I would definitely go back!! Must go for tourist.
  • I've wanted to visit the park for a long time and it did not disappoint. There is so much to see I think it's best to spend two days instead of one here so you aren't constantly rushing to the next thing. Check out the Colombian history show at 1PM, it's an amazing show and great history lesson.
  • Great park to visit. Make sure you have comfortable shoes to walk in because there's alot to walk. Very educational park to learn about coffee processing. There's also a nice sky deck with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountains.
