  • Sierra nevada is incredible, so high mountains beside the sea! Amazing! Minca is no longer the "typical Indian village" since they have fixed the road and now this very exploited, disorganized and messy. Despite that we meet friendly locals! We arrived without no nothing planned tour, went by taxi from santa marta (25,000) and alli hired José María "el negro" that made us a tour by sierra nevada, up to the hostel casa element, Marinka waterfalls, blue pit, and then us low to santa marta again. If you are going by Minca do not hesitate to speak with, is a charming person and super professional! Besides us was explaining things of every day at Minca and was amazing!
