Tourist Spot Educational Site
Head to Universidad de Antioquia, which has a museum as well as a lush and vibrant common area ideal for relaxing and watching the day go by. The oldest and second-largest university in the country, there are over 36,000 students on this main campus, so be aware that there may be a dense concentration of people on site. Tourists are not officially allowed onto university grounds without showing ID, but an appeal to the security personnel here has been known to do the trick. Once inside the museum, check out the anthropological section, the oldest and largest in Latin America. • It may not be the best university of the country for statistics but it is for me. I love Thee, UdeA.
