Universidad de Antioquia, Medellin

4.6
Head to Universidad de Antioquia, which has a museum as well as a lush and vibrant common area ideal for relaxing and watching the day go by. The oldest and second-largest university in the country, there are over 36,000 students on this main campus, so be aware that there may be a dense concentration of people on site. Tourists are not officially allowed onto university grounds without showing ID, but an appeal to the security personnel here has been known to do the trick. Once inside the museum, check out the anthropological section, the oldest and largest in Latin America. • In the Museum and the art around the main campus .have excellent samples of timelines of Colombian history, lots of variety and the students very complacent guides.

  • The UdeA is the best academic space conceived in Antioquia. It is a sign of true beauty Natural and Artificial, conducive to reflection, study and health (is very well equipped with sporting and artistic scenarios). Excellent!

  • I studied there and work there also, I am a pianist, I owe a lot to my beautiful U of A, I thank you for what you have taught me and to those who have taught me there, I love its greenery, its large number of trees, have problems, unfortunately many go there only to drink offer OL or drugs, is a pity that they do not respect it. Beautiful my U of A.
