Pueblito Paisa, Medellin
(3.7/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Experience the charm of a typical Paisa region town at Pueblito Paisa, perched at the top of a hill overlooking Medellin. The replica village takes you back in time to the late 19th century and allows you to experience what life was like in the so-called "Coffee Triangle." Built in part using scraps of buildings demolished to make way for a power plant, including church doors and school furniture, the town was opened for public in 1978. Grab a typical Colombian meal at one of the model town's restaurants, and enjoy spectacular views over the city while you wander through the quaint streets. Using our international travel planner, Medellin attractions like Pueblito Paisa can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • THE pueblito paisa in Medellín is an obligatory stop in the beautiful, Medellin, with a viewpoint and an area of meals modest, perfect to spend an hour or two, take a few pictures but there is to do, if you're turibus low takes the picture and return to deal with. not worth to be more time

  • Located on a small hill at the center of the metropolis, the village Reconstructs an urban heritage of the region, with, as a reduction, a church, shops, houses, a place. Mounted on the terrace nearby to have a nice view of the pueblito and the city of Medellin. If you saw Santa Fe de Antioqua, Guatapé or village of the coffee plantation area, this visit may be unnecessary.

  • Beautiful little "city" located on the top of a hill overlooking Medellin. Great place to learn about old Colombia and the artisans, buildings and dress. There are also nature walks and public art to view here and the Museum of the City, a fantastic feature. Great place to spend half a day.
  • Nice view, but also a tourist trap. Better views for example on Jardín Circúnvalar. Make sure to go to the top platform for the best view of the city.
  • Great place to take good pictures of the city if you dont want to walk up a cerro. To those gringos complaining that its "too little", thats what the diminutive "pueblito" means (tiny town). Go to parque Arvi aferwards, you'll love the ride...
  • I give more stars for the overall location (Cerro Nutibarra) which offers great views and a few little trails for easy hiking and is in general a good destination for a short visit. The pueblito itself I find ok but not impressing, it's a tiny replica of a village square. Much better to go to an actual pueblo ;)
  • Must visit this cute, traditional little village in Medellin :) Best to go in the afternoon to check out the boutiques and stands selling souvenirs and treats, stop by the little quaint church, grab a drink or something to eat while you walk around, and if you stay a little longer, (since it's on one of the highest hills in Medellin) you'll catch the sun setting over the entire city and get a magnificent panoramic view of it all! Go take pictures; it's definitely worth it.
