Pueblito Paisa, Medellin

3.7
#1 of 13 in Historic Sites in Medellin
Experience the charm of a typical Paisa region town at Pueblito Paisa, perched at the top of a hill overlooking Medellin. The replica village takes you back in time to the late 19th century and allows you to experience what life was like in the so-called "Coffee Triangle." Built in part using scraps of buildings demolished to make way for a power plant, including church doors and school furniture, the town was opened for public in 1978. Grab a typical Colombian meal at one of the model town's restaurants, and enjoy spectacular views over the city while you wander through the quaint streets. • A place to make a high road, relax watching the chaotic city. Reproduction of a typical with a couple of local village to also eat and drink. Very nice.

  • Visit this attraction, is to pay tribute to the memory of the muleteers, who forged this race and left their heritage of working for what is now Medellín and general Antioquia.

  • Good views of the city and valley. Lots of kids flying kites which was also fun to watch. Good date spot too.
  • Amazing views! A must see for all visitors to Medellin! Great place to take in the whole city.
  • Nice place... No food for vegetarians... Everything has a lot of different kinds of meat...
  • This is an excellent spot to get a full 360 degree view of beautiful Medellin. And if you've never experienced eating a Bandaja Paisa meal, you can get a great dish of it here at the restaurant on location. Enjoy Medellin!
  • I recommend this place in case you are a couple/family of foreigners. Since its a beautiful place to eat, hang around and maybe buy those paisa's souvenirs !!! Also lets not forget the view, its beautiful and its worth to go: in the morning (maybe 10am), midday and afternoon (before 6:00pm its better to be already be going). Also review 1300 !!! Yay
