  • This is a nice church, and the surrounding area is clean, safe, and full of activity. Food is everywhere. The church is not extremely elaborate but does have many interesting features.  more »

  • I went with my family to the mass, but my mother was very affected, because she always receives the wafer in their hands and the priest not only did not let her, but humiliated, when the Church clearly says that you can receive Holy Communion the way in which my mother does. A very unfortunate experience.

  • With the name of San Lorenzo de Aburrá, the visitor Francisco Herrera and Campuzano, supported by Royal Decree, he decreed the founding of the first settlement on 2 March 1616 80 indigenous in the Aburrá Valley, on the site now occupied by the Park of El Poblado. Once Medellin re-fundara in 1675 in what is today the Berrio Park, El Poblado became the Centre of a large rural area that served as a production area for the supply of the new population, a situation that lasted for quite some time, since the city little extended to the El Poblado commune.
