  • If you love art you will like this place, is where a local artist lived and now is a museum with tons of his work. The streets around have graffiti versions or murals with some of his most famous works.
  • Great museum! Very informative :)
  • My favorite museum when I visited Medellin in December 2012.
  • MAESTRO PEDRO NEL GÓMEZ Museum: Located in the Aranjuez neighborhood. This was the Hogar-Taller where he lived the maestro Pedro Nel Gómez, who was one of the leading muralists of Latin America and of whom there are countless works. The House began as a Museum in the year of 1975, thanks to the donation made by not only the artist, but also his family who gave much of the works. The residence with decorations and murals al fresco on a hundred and sixty square meters area. There is preserved in file preparatory "cartons" of the nearly 2,200 square metres of wall decorations in fresco made in multiple spaces and public buildings of the city and the country. Save nearly three thousand works of art between drawings, watercolors, oils, pastels, and some sculptures and architectural projects. Your library Giuliana Scalaberni retains nearly two thousand books and more than five thousand documents on the life and work of the artist. WILLIAM GARCÉS SIERRA

Also has beautiful green spaces on the side of the cafeteria and travel through the place looking at the magnificent artworks that there protect is simply dazzling.
