  • I was actually really. Underwhelmed overall by Parque Arvi. Upon arrival, you're greatest by various stalls selling great food, drink and other interesting things. This information stall did a great job of explaining the points of interest but if you're planning to walk this, it's an incredibly uneventful. I found myself spending the majority of the time walking along the road. The issue being that the majority of the walks aren't sign posted so you rarely won't to deter from the main roads. I would STRONGLY recommend taking a tour or transport to get around quicker, this may have made the whole experience so much better. Perhaps I'm to blame, perhaps it's the lack of signage. Who knows!?
  • Excellent alternative for nature near Medellin. Nice trails for hiking. You can do guided or hike on your own.
  • Great park up the hill accessible by cable car. Going up cost about 5000 pesos. Was about a 20 minute ride the cable car from santa Domingo. The park has good honest vendors selling stuff. Walk around and do some hiking. There is also a nice waterfall and park to visit
  • Great park for hiking. The forest has a lot of beautiful plants and is easily accessible from Medellin.
  • Gliding quietly over the lush park property stands out as one of my favorite memories from my time in Medellin. The park is impressive and the cable cars are a fun way to reach the area. We were there on a Sunday and were pleased to discover that there was a market with fresh fruit, snacks, and interesting knick knacks. One word of advice - I highly recommend dipping out a bit early to avoid backups on the cable cars - we left around 3:30pm and it took us 90+ minutes to make it back down to the metro train station.
