  • It is a good opportunity to learn about the importance of the forest reserve and the process of purification of water from the city of Manizales. Also it is interesting to share the experiences with children, it is a good plan to share in family or school groups.

  • Nice walk through nature/water-collection area under the supervision of a guide. Is pretty heavy by the height (from 2200 to 2600 metres), but well worth the effort.

  • If you like a bit of nature and you're in Manizales seeking for it, Rio Blanco is the perfect place for it, specially if you love birds cause there are a lot of hummingbirds, hundrends of them in the book, is really close to the city and you wont regret, plus you get to see the andean bear, to lot of orquids two , its a great place! If you're in Manizales and looking for contact with nature, White River is the perfect place, because if you are a lover of birds there you'll find hundreds of species of hummingbirds and many others. You will find orchids and lots of flora and fauna endemic and typical of the region. Also you can see the spectacled bear. It is a site close to the city.
