Sun, snorkel, or simply relax at Playa Blanca, where turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush coastal foliage attract scores of tourists and day-trippers. Kick back at one of the local beach bars with a bite to eat or a drink; alternatively, try buying some fresh oysters from the vendors who frequent the sandy stretch. Afterwards, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater environment of coral and fish. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the jellyfish that frequent the area. • Beautiful beach, white sand, warm, transparent waters, a few meters from the shore can do (very economical) snorkel seeing great quantity and variety of colourful fish. Ideal wear shoes of river by the coral. Sellers very insistent and their prices are higher compared with the big mouth) must tell them NOT emphatically. The worst... the masseuses, become overwhelming and cheeky, once you agree to a price, they go by that you did in arms or legs etc. I do NOT recommend it. Carry water

  • To reach the beach in General close Transfer by boats (speedboats) but to make payment at the ticket window of the pier we were over an hour waiting for the boat to pack out in the middle of the heat (Cartagena plus hot has high humidity) relevant point to be said and it was sold under the US time needed to wait for 15 minutes only. To get to the beach we found: dirty Beach, without structure, several stalls offering everything imaginable without education, dogs in the middle of the beach, anyway what they say the beach beautiful and such a mere deception. It's no big deal if you are Brazilian and has had opportunity to meet any beach in the Northeast will not be surprised by the beach ... But the worst of the ride was not that, but rather that sold us a lunch was served elsewhere and get the boat (this gave problem and the same was just 1 engine running) we arrived at a place to be pretty tolerant was a sewer to its open with a lousy food and in the middle of a slum. I refused to eat lunch because I don't know what the method of hygiene had used. Anyway, after this terrible food experience still waiting over 2 hrs to get to the pier of our departure for our boat was in trouble. My Tip: if they're to get the transfer to the beach to think even if worth it (remember that name-boat Catalina II-bad crew, without any preparation)-if they are, don't worry to know beaches in Cartagena, if they really want to go opt for excursions in resorts-ride type (Resort Sea People) that it's worth it. If you pay more but are you sure of what happens-be very careful with the Colombians who ship rides out of registered points-although the beach, Cartagena's great food and city tours are worth worth

  • Was one of the worst experiences in the area of the beach that I've lived. We went from van, when we sold the bus, bad, tight, old. The tent that we looked like public school of the interior of Maranhão, school portfolios, dirty, tables sawn as if it were in favour. The food seemed to feed my dog eats better, oily, burnt fish, very oily, I preferred patacones or eat. The beach could be beautiful, but the look is ugly, badly made tents, dirt, old chairs scattered around, dogs swimming, boats, jets and bananas mixed with bathers, all sorts of hawkers, many were content with a no, lack privacy. It's not fresh I know almost all the beaches of Mucuri, Bahia, to Fortaleza, I've never seen anything like it, is a tourism in that you don't receive anything in Exchange for paying, all they take, it's not worth it, spend a day is torture.
