Playa Blanca, Isla Baru

(2.5/5 based on 2,800+ reviews on the web)
Sun, snorkel, or simply relax at Playa Blanca, where turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush coastal foliage attract scores of tourists and day-trippers. Kick back at one of the local beach bars with a bite to eat or a drink; alternatively, try buying some fresh oysters from the vendors who frequent the sandy stretch. Afterwards, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater environment of coral and fish. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the jellyfish that frequent the area. • After arriving by bus, disappointment first at the sight of the endless continuation of tents! But after spending 2 nights and 3 days on this beach, I would say that it is a very relaxing place but which can be appreciated outside the daily tourists visiting hours (10 h - 15 h)! Especially away from the hub (arrival) to make the most of this paradisiacal place!

  • Playa blanca is undoubtedly beautiful, the sand is white, the sea is well transparent and tempered, a dream! But we were a day that had too many people, we were all piled up and I could not enjoy as I would have liked. You can go by boat in 15 minutes or collective in an hour approximately. Just you get they assail you which rented you umbrellas at exorbitant prices! After a while of being me di account that if we had walked a bit there were places with fewer people and where the beach was more wide. The sellers Street: unbearable, not there is that even look them because not you them do get more than over. And never accept anything of gift! They then charge you anything. Advice: go a day of week and go and see all the beach before locate is.
