Sun, snorkel, or simply relax at Playa Blanca, where turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush coastal foliage attract scores of tourists and day-trippers. Kick back at one of the local beach bars with a bite to eat or a drink; alternatively, try buying some fresh oysters from the vendors who frequent the sandy stretch. Afterwards, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater environment of coral and fish. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the jellyfish that frequent the area. • It is one of the most beautiful beaches around Cartagena. Definitely a place that I recommend to go. Its beach is of texture soft and the sea is calm and little deep. Perfect for swimming with my daughter. Sadly, the seabed is full of garbage and motorboats and sea Jet pilots are up people without control of any authority generating risk to bathers. It should not there be permitted access to those motorcycle launches "jetsky" because sooner or later there will be an accident.

  • Superb output to do when one is on Cartagena. Small boat departure in the morning to the island of Baru. The beach is paradise, clear water and white sand. To do alone or with family.
