Upload them yet will amaze you with incredible views. If you are coming to the region, this is one of the places to know.

  • Climbed to the top of Mavicure a few days ago despite my 67 years. The latter part of the descent was a little frightening as it rained and the lichen-covered rock changes rapidly from rough to greasy...  more »
  • Mavecure, monkey and bird are three majestic hills on the edge of the Inirida River. This is a sacred place for the indigenous Puinave, so the three hills only can climb normally one (Mavecure) from where you can see the other two, winding rivers and a forest that does not end. To reach Mavecure you must take a boat in port Inírida. The dolphins Hotel plans trip to this place. In summer (December to March) form beaches at the edge of the river and people often go to make barbecues and camping. This site is also famous for appearing in the final scene of the film (2015) Serpent's embrace, but the historical facts which treats the film not never occurred in the Guainía.
