  • Nice place to relax and to enjoy a few drinks. Vendors and street artists can get super annoying, very ungrateful and rude once you give them some change as they will request more and will not leave. It made us very uncomfortable so my advice is - don't allow singers and guitarists even start their song as they will charge you 20000pesos. Just ignore them
  • Nice nightly music. Great little red coffee truck. Vendors drive ypu nuts here! Dont pay more than 15$US for your hats. They tey to sell them for the equivalent of 40$US. The coral bracelets, they ask for up to 10$US. I brought it down to 5$US (equivalent) they are amazing stones, don't get me wrong. They cost lots in USA, but they are from here, therefore, they should be less expensive. Which they are, we are only given the tourist price. Which we can work down.
  • Colombia is a gorgeous country, especially inside the walled city. They have gorgeous options on airbnb for houses to rent and really nice hotels!
  • Nice little square. Good to take a seat if you can find one and just enjoy the locals chatting amongst themselves. The square has two different faces from the day to the night.
  • Lovely plaza. Sometimes at night, singers or players will come and play out side. This is also the setting in Love in the time of Cholera where Florentino Ariza used to sit everyday waiting for Fermina Daza and her aunt to walk across to go to church or go to school and where he played the Crowned Goddess for her in the night (he also played in the cemetary but....)
