Parque del Centenario, Cartagena

(3.3/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Head to Parque del Centenario for a walk through lush, pristine park space while commemorating those who lost their lives during the revolt for independence in Colombia. Visitors also flock here to observe a variety of animal species in the wild; iguanas, birds, and monkeys (among others) all inhabit the area. Having spent much of its life unfinished due to a lack of funds, the park has undergone a recent renovation that has brought vibrancy to the place. There's plenty of canopied, shady areas here too, so bring a book. Using our custom trip planner, Cartagena attractions like Parque del Centenario can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Is a park that of day is a square very pretty, but of night (to the start is the neighborhood Gethsemane there) not is to be busy since while close the Park is housed men without home or that is meet for drink, etc. In the square there is a craft fair, a fair of used books, the ridge of the martyrs and the promenade to view the Colon theatre or the Convention Center can be directed.

  • If we are visiting Cartagena is easy to get to the. Some commercial galleries where to get some cheap clothes and shoes things nearby. Also electronic things. Several restaurants are also nearby.

  • Very nice and well maintained, the stalls of handicrafts, and books, the cool thing is that it's easy to get, leaving the clock of the walled city just across the street, and leaving the other gate you enter the neighborhood of guetsmani. To a mini-Mall, where things are well into account, no luxury.
