  • The monument "Shoes Viejos" is an homage to a regional poet named Luis Carlos López. The location is not the most important sights of Cartagena, but certainly yields funny pictures. Worth the visit after leaving the castle of San Felipe de Barajas, is very close, and it's pretty cool to take a picture inside of the shoes, the other too!

  • Cute, near the castle of San Felipe, but is impossible to be there more than 5 minutes by cause of them sellers Street that is you pull over, to sell you what is. Impossible take a photo at the monument for this cause

  • Also known as the old boots. Located in the rear of the Castle San Felipe, is a tribute to one of the greatest poets of the city, Luis Carlos López, and his most popular work, 'to my native city'.

  • Cool monument, but good luck getting a good photo with all the tourists
  • The shoes are OK, but since they are a very short walk away from the castle, you might just as well go there. The view of the shoes with the castle in the background is nice.
  • muy bonito
  • Historical place to visit, no more than 10 mins
