Originally built as storerooms for ammunition, Las Bovedas now house bars, galleries, and souvenir shops. Built between 1792 and 1796, the 23 former dungeons attached to the protective city walls represent the last major construction effort of colonial times.   • "Crafts" are sold within the walled city, or better call them souvenirs or memories, since are enough industrialised and very expensive.

  • All the stores are the same and sell virtually the same things. Has bendedores of candy in stalls too. The jewelry are made of coral, and haggling, because charge according to the client's face.

  • A lot of souvenir shops, fortunately done with a nice style. The building is worth visiting too, really nice colors and great, colonial vibe.
  • Great for tourists. Not many had AC or fans. Prices vary from shop to shop. It's worth seeing if you want some souvenirs.
