  • I was there on January 2 by the Metropolitan concert with artists such as Juan Luis Guerra and Carlos Vives, the stadium is nice and well preserved, its inputs are not well identified, the neighborhood that surrounds it is a little dirty, due to the amount of people who attended the concert the baths were insufficient, if the stadium have up to 20 thousand people then you should have many more bathrooms.

  • Cartagena football stadium was built for you National Games in 1960 and he was baptized with the name of the founder of the city, Don Pedro de Heredia, but more than 40 year later began to gestate a name and name change of the current situation resolved by the City Council who chose a name by decree that say and speak better on the sports stage and therefore was chosen the name of Jaime Morón an excellent Athlete who made sufficient merit for this honor because juice in all category of football, several equipment rented soccer and died victim of the complication of a diabetes. And it is the home of the only Real Cartagena. AEMR

  • living most of my Colombian stays in Cartagena, I could not in the end not to get involved in what is one of the passions, rooting for the home team the Real Cartagena. Dragged me to the stadium for the first time this April an Italian friend who runs the Hotel san Pietro, where I generally stay. The stadium is really nice, functional, and is qualified. May contain 16000 spectators, it was originally named after Pedro of Heredia, Spanish adventurer, founder of the city and here play the Real Cartagena, the team and the city's pride one of the stronger clubs in the Colombian second division. It was modernised in 2006 the year when I discovered this wonderful country on the basis of Central American and Caribbean Games. The Stadium from 2007 was titled to Jaime Morón León, famous player cartagenero degli anni ' 70 who was top scorer and national champion with the club "los Millionarios" from Bogota, (the team in which he played a certain Alfredo di Stefano before coming to Real Madrid) and which disappeared prematurely in 2005. This stage he then hosted several important matches c , including the quarter-finals of the World Championship under-20. As I said the stadium is really nice, comfy seats all painted in yellow (team color) contribute to a nice color contrast with the rest of the structure in green (other color of the team.) It is accessed very well and the entrance is always very orderly, very important matches like that also I witnessed between the Real and the Bucaramanga for the lead in the standings. I got really pumped in this match because I got to know the whole team and to eat with them since when the coach must prepare an important game brings the entire team at the hotel where accommodation owned by Jayashree, barese Thoroughbreds, also is obviously one of the most vocal supporters of the team as well as friend. Thanks to this I was able to enjoy the game in the gallery and I must say that if you have the opportunity to attend a match at this latitude, don't miss it, because you will see such a joyous celebration, a show within the sporting spectacle. Even during the most vocal supporters of the curve to my right have not stopped singing the songs of the team, raising choruses and beating on drums. There was also a show of entertainment by a dance troupe with a famous local d.j. for the record my Real Cartagena 2 to 0 win.
