  • The Convention Center has a gigantic and admirable structure with a beautiful architecture. In your interior there is ample space for organizing events. During the night you can have a beautiful view of the Torre del Reloj, Galeon Bucanero and some other points in the vicinity. Worth knowing when it is open. For some events, admission is free.

  • Monolithic and clad with stone, it nevertheless blends with the Centro Marina, and doesn't look awkward sitting across from the Teatro Colon. So, nice job for a modern building in an old section.  more »

  • Great infrastructure for meetings. But it should have more places to eat. There is only a tiny food stand and a Juan Valdez cafe that serves no sandwiches
  • This is an excellent, well run conference centre with friendly, helpful staff. A great venue for a large conference, with many smaller seminar rooms.
  • The best of facilities built in the eighties...
  • One of the most representative places of Cartagena. Excelent view with a bay having small vessels floating to its side.
  • Great conference center in the heart of cartagena

Where to stay in Cartagena

Despite its status as a major tourist hub, Cartagena offers a good choice of affordable places to stay. If you're looking to splurge, consider staying at one of the town's restored colonial-era buildings, which now house boutique hotels packed with modern amenities. Alternatively, several old monasteries in Cartagena's walled colonial district offer outstanding facilities at very high prices. Budget-conscious travelers can explore the many mid-range hotels and low-cost hostels clustered in Getsemani, an up-and-coming neighborhood and center of the backpacker scene.
