  • The monument stands on a Plaza outside the walled city, the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, it pays to put in the script to do together! It is a small square, without many attractions! Only India even if it is part of the history of the city.

  • Beautiful place to visit in the morning or afternoon. It is not well appreciated in the evening. It's an easy walk from the city.
  • It tells you the history of the India Catalina. From this place you can take the bus Transcaribe to the bus terminal.
  • It's an intersection with a small monument in a small triangle surrounded by heavy foot traffic and automobiles and motorcycles. I used this street to walk to the castle. My experiences foot navigating through Vietnam and Philippines streets made this place a breeze.
  • Nothing special. Across the street there is a bus stop by the river where people defecate in plain view. Wretched site, try to avoid this place, feels unsafe too.
  • Is... Just... A tiny monument!

Where to stay in Cartagena

Despite its status as a major tourist hub, Cartagena offers a good choice of affordable places to stay. If you're looking to splurge, consider staying at one of the town's restored colonial-era buildings, which now house boutique hotels packed with modern amenities. Alternatively, several old monasteries in Cartagena's walled colonial district offer outstanding facilities at very high prices. Budget-conscious travelers can explore the many mid-range hotels and low-cost hostels clustered in Getsemani, an up-and-coming neighborhood and center of the backpacker scene.
