Pance River, Cali
(4.4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Recreation rules at Pance River, a popular local spot for camping and barbecues. Escape the heat and cool off in the chilly river water, which rushes runoff from the mountains. Take a walk through nature, explore the surrounding area, and bring food and blankets for a riverside snack. The river area is known for its many restaurants and stalls selling traditional local snacks, such as bunuelos, arepas, and hojaldras. Be aware that the riverfront beach can get crowded on the weekends, and take care swimming, as some parts of the river have a strong current. • For a caleño like me, this is a place OBLIGED to visit, learn and enjoy. Its cool waters and natural environment between the eastern cordillera can be the best fresh air and taste the best typical food Caleña and Vallenua.

  • But there is too much business, too much garbage, lack of culture can lead to not enjoy the ride, people want to take their dogs loose, cooking, let your waste etc. I understand that security is good, the trail is beautiful, I believe that it is the only option that is of this type in Cali.

  • Is the best experience for connecting is with the nature, the road is full of lizards, butterflies and birds. After walking a while to get to the waterfall, the best reward is getting a time in cold water. Recommend not to go when it rained, or rainy season, as the road becomes mud and it is not easy to get.
