Cerro De Las Tres Cruces, Cali
Categories: Outdoor Activities
Hike to the top of Cerro De Las Tres Cruces, where legend holds that a demon named Buziraco terrorized Cali with plague and famine. In 1837, two brothers carried three crosses of bamboo up the hill to ward the him off. Eventually these crosses evolved into the iron and cement giants you see today. Sundays here are busy with tradition, giving you a good opportunity to mix with the locals. Challenging at times, the hike to the top is best started early; take plenty of water. Once at the summit, you can buy refreshments and enjoy spectacular views over Cali. Our Cali holiday planner makes visiting Cerro De Las Tres Cruces and other Cali attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.
