  • Our trip started in the busy city of Buenaventura which we highly recommend to spend the night before venturing out to Juanchaco Beach. In the center, near the pier, you will find all the bars, restau...  more »
  • Peace and quiet. A paradise where you can disconnect from the world and enjoy an incredible place with almost private beach, beautiful landscapes and excellent service from the hosts. Unforgettable experience. Recommended for a bridge or at least 3 days. Apart from enjoying the beach short walks (20-60 min) can be on trails in the jungle to other beaches such as Coqueros, Chucheros, Playa Dorada. You can also kayak by estuaries and mangroves. There are rides organized by boat towards Pozo Azul and the waterfalls of the tiller, and of course, if you are in season (July to October), whale watching. Mr frame is a great person. His aides, Julian and Hugo, great human beings, very helpful and friendly. Do not forget to buy handicrafts in wood that Julian does. A final recommendation is NOT lunch the last day before leaving because it tends to be very riotous return to Buenaventura sea, then by that of dizziness and that, is not the best idea. I'll be back 100% sure if God permits me.

  • We were in Malaga Bay two nights, we stayed 20 minutes from this beach walking. Found me a beautiful place where you can relax, that if there is to be careful with the bathroom when the tide is low, as in this area and especially in this beach there are many stripes and more than one leaves enough served by ignoring the people there and swim anyway. In this beach there are some cabins where can to stay you, but to my personally me seems a little expensive by what went to the beach Chucheros, it called it Loma the business, this near Juan of Dios and there a family charming you offer cabins and rental of tents, besides others activities as sighting of whales or visit to the waterfall it tiller all very cheap and warm relationship (3116000024). The Bahia Malaga is precious, I recommend it completely.
