It represents part of the cultural heritage of the city. Old building but robust and secure. Has images dating from several years ago which makes it a gem or not only monument of Bucaramanga but of all the Department of Santander

originated in 1778 when it produced the extinction of the indigenous reservation of real de minas de Bucaramanga and is formed as a parish. The building was initially built as three buildings on the same site, have risen the last intervention took place on July 2, 1872, reinaugurando is the new building which is what we currently know; should be noted that the Church initially had a unique façade, to the social dynamics was on the rise, it became necessary to demolish the adjoining House to give passage to a second front. The Church of San Laureano was proposed as a monument nation in the Decade of 1980, but still has failed to get such recognition, however is currently included in the assets of Cultural interest of the Department of Santander.

Church, not tourist center may that European visitors expect to find the majestic basilicas and large churches that abound in their lands, but that is not the case of this building. It is basically a church with some Catholic art, featuring beautiful pictures of the façade lighting at night. He is not recommended to use high range to view cameras in the outdoors. I would not recommend it as a tourist site in the city to less than that is interested in this type of religious structures. At Christmas can be adorned by some lights, but it really is not significant.
