  • The atmosphere is charming but are enough homeless people hanging around for the surroundings, hopefully the authorities take action.

  • restored it! designed by the priest Santiago Páramo Ortiz and had two constructive stages. The first began in 1898, but the works were suspended because of the war of the thousand days (1899-1903). The second stage started once finished the confrontations and lasted until 1911, year in which the building was completed. Colegio San Pedro Claver worked in this building until 1935, giving way to the Colegio Santander after liberal reforms seeking to regain control of the education at the hands of the State. As a result of this reform, the Department decided to ask the Jesuits the eviction of the building which was under his tutelage, giving way to Santander Colegio, Colegio Nuestra Señora del Pilar and the Colegio Aurelio Martinez Mutis, departmental library, ran on the first floor. Currently operates the Cultural Center of the Middle East and is part of the collective memory of the bumangueses. Declared a national monument as such through the number 1910 Decree of November 02, 1995. Located in Cra. 19 #31-65

  • It is a place rustic, spacious, old, with many memories to go, but nothing interesting to find, very badly managed.
