Visit the historic Puente de Boyaca, a bridge that pinpoints the location of the legendary Battle of Boyaca. Situated in a lush green valley, the bridge is surrounded by monuments dedicated to the famous battle that was won by the forces of Simon Bolivar and granted independence to Colombia. Cross the Teatinos River via the small bridge, which was actually built a century before the iconic battle took place there. Nearby you can view the other monuments, such as the Von Miller sculpture dedicated to Bolivar, the statue of General Francisco de Paula Santander, or the perpetually burning Liberty Fire. And the monuments that surround it, explain the importance of the place. On one side of the road and on the West side of the place is a bow with four columns, two on either side. The arch is the beautiful symbol of grade XIV. On either side steps lead to an atrium facing the bow. And over the arch there are three engraved with silhouettes that we would like to identify. Are those who there? The work of independence was Masonic. The enlightenment and reform were his support. And the lodges occult organization. Nariño and Miranda were declared Freemasons. Bolivar was started which means that never ceased to be so. Each Monument here makes sense. Nearby there is a small obelisk. And to the East is Bolivar surrounded by muses who trumpets play. A row of Poles today surround the field of war.

Quite interesting but a guided tour could improve the experience here. Parking is quite expensive and the museum is closed most of the times.
