Titan plaza, Bogota

4.2
#9 of 27 in Shopping in Bogota
You'll find 54,000 sq m (177,165 ft) of shopping over four floors at Titan plaza. This shopping complex is the third biggest in Colombia, and boasts a green roof that lends it an environmentally friendly theme and highlights its bioclimatic architectural style. The interior and exterior of the mall were designed entirely in smooth lines, without any edges or corners. The interior colors were chosen to represent four themes: foliage, flora, fruit, and fauna. There are many domestic international retailers, a mini amusement park, food court, and a movie theater. If the weather's nice, bring your food to the rooftop patio to dine on the sunny terrace. • This Mall is a bit different to others in Bogota. Its design has particular and rare elements. It is located in a central place of the city, easily accessible by Transmilenio, taxi or car. It has a very interesting terrace to walk and look at the landscape, where also local small of varied food are. It has numerous lifts and escalators to facilitate the movement of visitors with older people and babies in arms or in pram. It has renowned stores and other exclusive. We were a festive day in the afternoon, so this place was very busy and needed to have patience because everything was full; from your square meals to workplaces to eat ice cream or drink coffee. You had to make row and be patient on all sides... No doubt it is a good place to visit family or couple, shopping, going to movies or just walking a bit.

  • Access is sometimes very difficult. The traffic of the Boyacá is not recommended. The West traffic is very difficult. The city's traffic is very difficult. Nice square meals. Many brands and great meeting place. Interesting. Access if you are by car is complex, above all, a weekend.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
