  • It is a place of gathering of fruits, vegetables and meats, which at another time of the city was a supply point for many people. As grew Bogota, became a place attending persons requiring large amounts of these products. It is a place full of people, especially in the mornings, and is very agitated. In fact, if you are ready to move quick and alert you can recognize this type of trade and appreciate the variety of products. It can be a dangerous place, especially its surroundings, so it is not recommended for the typical tourist, but for someone who wants to know too how it moves this sector, by a particular interest.

  • It is a perfect place to buy flowers, you can find hundreds of varieties, all very fresh and at the best prices. Is necessary arrive very early, the market starts before them 3:30 am and with the run of the morning, them prices begin to climb. After dawn, the best flowers have been sold.

  • I visited this market and also the market in Medellin (Plaza Minorista). This market is definitely much nicer and more interesting than the one in Minorista. If you have visited wet markets in Asia be...  more »

  • lo mejor de lo mejor
  • Busy, large market. Mainly fresh produce, meats, fish. Great experience with the amazing range of fruit that Colombia has to offer. Was only a $3USD uber from town.
  • An amazing array of fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, flowers and packaged goods. Must see for the adventurous traveller who would like to wander off the beaten path a bit
  • There's a shop where you can find diferent types of spicy specias. Really good.
  • This market is so cool!!! Great choices of fruits. Good quality. Have a Poker beer with the locals after work (from about 16:30) in one of the bars with colombian music.
