If you're in your day off, and you don't find anything else to do, you don't want to spend a lot of money, you can just come here with your family, and a soccer ball and that's gonna be enough. Since I was a kid, this has been like my favorite place to visit, because you feel calmed and relaxed, not like going to a mall, where you hear all the noise... No, you feel the peace, and you can lie down in the grass and just hill out a moment. Excellent place.

Amazing place to enjoy nature at the heart of Bogota. One of the biggest urban parks in Latin America, I recommend you to visit during the weekends. Even if it will be crowded, you will have fun.

I went there to Ed Sheran's concert it was really great and peaceful, but when the time to exit the park came it was chaos, because all the alternative exits were closed by the police so we were like 200.000 people walking towards ONE exit.

Do you like the green? Do you like to feel calm? There you this amazing place. You can go and either read or do some exercise. There are a lot of things to do; very often there are cultural activities taken in here. Down side: if you want some nice food, bring it with you.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
