Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.

  • Great place to go on a sunny day! You can walk around, do some sports or even have a picnic! It's a beautiful park and it's also the place where Rock al Parque is done, one of the biggest rock festiva...  more »
  • The location is nice for visiting a central place in Bogota. Dont forget to read about Colombian history before paying a visit here.  more »
  • The reason for this trip was to draw a body of water for a school assignment, and in Bogotá, this is as close as you can get. We took sandwiches for a picnic and got drinks and chips there. I wouldn't...  more »

  • Do you like the green? Do you like to feel calm? There you this amazing place. You can go and either read or do some exercise. There are a lot of things to do; very often there are cultural activities taken in here. Down side: if you want some nice food, bring it with you.
  • Really a good park. Many activities you can do there. There is children play area also
  • It's a nice place to go for a run or enjoy the day just walking thru the park. Weekends are crowded. The public bathrooms aren't so great, so unless you have to just hold it in. They have exercising activities every Sunday morning for free.
  • Natural place to spend a sunny Sunday with your family, friends or partner, you can take your own food or.but something there
  • Needs better maintenance, sundays it is too crowded , nice place to go biking, jogging or walking, with your dog and family.
