  • No place to doubts the space to enjoy a Sunday or holiday with family, friends or partner, a broad footprint in any city site of refuge and recreation, events such as sports, recreational activities and concerts are suitable in this lugra, although the Security is a bit difficult to control extension and topology of the Park.

  • The Parque Simon Bolivar has become the center of the largest number of races held in Bogotá, starting with the Media Marathon of Bogota, which has already completed its version 18 and street which brings together the largest number of participants in the capital. Space and avenues surrounding the Park make it a good place to concentrate the runners and their companions before and after competitions. Additionally has different routes to practice and recreational spaces for the family, including a lake.

  • It is the best Park City I know. It has nothing to envy to the parks in the major capitals of the world. A real gem and lung of the city. Its infrastructure is more than adequate for sports with pure air. Children's locations are excellent and their environment full of native trees and lakes make this a place of dream within the agitated Bogota.

  • If you're in your day off, and you don't find anything else to do, you don't want to spend a lot of money, you can just come here with your family, and a soccer ball and that's gonna be enough. Since I was a kid, this has been like my favorite place to visit, because you feel calmed and relaxed, not like going to a mall, where you hear all the noise... No, you feel the peace, and you can lie down in the grass and just hill out a moment. Excellent place.
  • One of the most biggest Parks of Bogota is an incredible place to relaxing, to go jogging. There is a beautiful lake and there area many kinder parks. It is better to go with many people. Me
  • Amazing place to enjoy nature at the heart of Bogota. One of the biggest urban parks in Latin America, I recommend you to visit during the weekends. Even if it will be crowded, you will have fun.
  • I went there to Ed Sheran's concert it was really great and peaceful, but when the time to exit the park came it was chaos, because all the alternative exits were closed by the police so we were like 200.000 people walking towards ONE exit.
  • Do you like the green? Do you like to feel calm? There you this amazing place. You can go and either read or do some exercise. There are a lot of things to do; very often there are cultural activities taken in here. Down side: if you want some nice food, bring it with you.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
