  • Nice Museum located in the historic center of Bogota. The building dates from 2004 and, on 3 floors, has large halls for exhibitions and even an auditorium. If you have time, it costs nothing to have a look.

  • The Museum is a complex of museums, Botero Museum, Art Museum of the Republic and Museum of numismatics and the Colombian currency. Combine and juxtapose modern and colonial architecture linked by courtyards, making the transition more enriching. Both paintings and sculptures and objects collection is extensive and varied. Mainly has the collection that Botero, donated with works and artists of international scope. 'The lettuce' has also a jewel of the colonial period and an area suitable for children.

  • Super indico, very well organized, paintings from the 16TH century, as well as sculptures and photographs, has Botero, and some paintings of Picaso, Miró, but what counts is to know the painters Colombians, I enjoyed those 20th century

  • The internationally known museum has exquisite bones. The courtyards are perfectly laid out and serene. It houses a large collection of Mr. Botero paintings. The canvases are known for their puffery of people - the images are grossly larger than normal depictions. See my 360 degree picture. It's well worth a stop.
  • Great Collection of international artists. All the big names and of course the extraordenary Fernandando Botero. Free Entry! Use the inexpensive Audio-Guide. Its worth it. Very nice building.
  • Outstanding gallery. One of the best I have been anywhere. Free entry. Botero's later work is phenomenal. My favourite pieces were his pastels, but his watercolours are also great. Also includes work by Picasso, Dali, Renoir, Degas, Monet and others. Free entry!
  • The place itself is pretty, however there are no description about Botero's life or career. It may give the impression that the paintings were thrown out there just because. One can see the whole museum in about 20 to 30 mins
  • Amazing place with a heavy collection of Botero paintings and sculptures. Also there's some Picaso, Monet and Renoir inside. 100% free of charge! You can't miss it if you're in Bogota and dig art. Also recommend using Uber to get here, as taxi drivers can be dodgy.
