Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.

  • I'm sure that you will enjoy this place. You will learn many things (astronomy, human body and mind, physics, etc) Young children just love it.  more »
  • Very helpful and amicable staff. Too crowded. There were like 5 different schools visiting that day. If you've been there, you know the location is not that big.  more »
  • I found some different sections with different qualities! I was advised, before buying the tickets, that the movie at the time I wanted, was mostly for little kids, which is really good to know, if yo...  more »

  • Best science center in Bogotá. Just the interactive exhibits are good for 3-4 hours of fun and learning. Most exhibits are text heavy of you don't speak Spanish, but you can still get a lot of enjoyment by just experiencing the museum. The cafeteria is also very good and inexpensive.
  • Not the best kid friendly activity in the city. Most of it already looks old.
  • It used to be better. Right now they don't enough attractions and it could be updated to something better. Althought they have good content in the dome.
  • Very poor and old, hasn't been updated for years. The only part we really enjoy is the movie at the planetarium.
  • Some of the statitons was not working. Support of english is not good. It seems that Maintanence is not good. But besides these critics it has Very good design. Very interesting subjects. Very good explanation of the basics. I am impressed. All the stations are designed to vork very efficently.
