  • When I saw it in photos seemed more attractive, but when we were there, I leave a flavorless, for example if you have children of 3 or 4 years may not enter the projections in the dome, only can access the interactive world, now facilities think they can be improved It gives the impression that at some point, it was great but they were not renewed

  • It is an interesting place if you bring children... adult experience is very limited... not worth what you pay

  • He had visited it a little more than 10 years ago and we went again to take our small daughters, interaction experiences remain almost the same in 10 years ago, only now showing the deterioration of use because there were several experiences outside service for damages or repairs (I think that should have anticipated these repairs and maintenance before the holiday season). Dome 3D films are striking but that doesn't guarantee they are fun because I detected some people dormant during the function. It is a good place for children come in contact with science, but surely that is in need of an update to improve the "hitch". 2D functions are short for what is paid; Unfortunately in many Colombian cities we don't have a similar space so that our children have experiences of science and we should go to Bogotá to visit Maloka or Medellin, but not compared to what exists in other countries such as the us in terms of museums of Science and believe that it is possible that Maloka achieved a similar level provided there is financial support to maintain a good level in the Museum. Personnel serving there, in majority, are very friendly and willing to answer questions and provide guidance.

  • I brought my 9 year old to the museum and he went crazy. The exhibits are well layed out and then staff is extremely friendly and will gladly help you around and guide you. Some exhibits are a little worn but everything lends itself to an excellent experience. The cafeteria was a nice surprise.
  • Best science center in Bogotá. Just the interactive exhibits are good for 3-4 hours of fun and learning. Most exhibits are text heavy of you don't speak Spanish, but you can still get a lot of enjoyment by just experiencing the museum. The cafeteria is also very good and inexpensive.
  • The people who work there is awesome. In contrast with similar museums in other countries where children run randomly from one display to another, the guides provide structure and give great explanations. Highly recommended.
  • Kids and adults have fun here...!
  • Not the best kid friendly activity in the city. Most of it already looks old.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
