  • Great Church, whose monumentality in the large square, alongside other important buildings is typically a square Spanish-wide square and unhindered, completely available for public ownership

  • The Church is not to be missed. But is just a few steps from the Botero Museum and worth to see the heavy traffic and drivers always honking very disturbing the interior of the temple.

  • Beautiful temple, richly decorated, it is permissible to shoot without flash. There are beautiful paintings and sculptures. It stands beside the Museum Botero and the library.

  • Beautiful place to view the city from above outside of paying to go up on the cable cars but it was not as bright/colorful inside as what I saw from the other photos. The ceiling paintings are unique, however. I have not seen anything like this anywhere in the states or in Europe.
  • A beautiful place

  • The Church is very nice, when I went you were making some arrangements. Quite interesting celebration of Kings mages who do in this town. The area is not very safe, caution is advised.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
