(4.3/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)

The 18th Century church has a modest exterior consisting of light brown brick walls and a white bell tower, which was added after the initial construction. Step inside and find a grand interior featuring tall white walls, a carved, wooden, dome shaped ceiling, balconies either side of the nave, and a grand central alter featuring religious ornaments from the floor to the ceiling. • Tercera Church located near Gold Museum is inside is a wooden church. Past stately, majestic wooden sculptures and ceiling is not to be missed. So as not to interfere with their followers because it was just during the mass at this time, we visited quietly. Visit banned Church during the Sunday mass but was okay. But give out from the inside is prohibited at all times.

  • The highlight is the lindenwood without gilding and polychromy as seen in the Church of San Francisco. It's called "Third" as the third church that there is from the San Francisco ... in other words, has nothing to do with any "third order". Inside, beyond the talha, highlighting the quiteña image "El abrazo de San Francisco" at the altar-mór.

  • Church located in downtown Bogotá, close to the gold Museum and other attractions. Despite the name, has nothing to do with the Ordem Terceira do Carmo. It was built in the 18th century and draws attention by the dark woodwork inside. It is quite unlike anything I've ever seen.
