  • Church next to the hostel I was, on a busy Avenue in a region of many restaurants and next to a mall. Very pretty and very well preserved.

  • This church is very traditional in Bogota. Its architecture is interesting and is located in a particular neighborhood: next to the financial area of Bogota and the Pedagogical University. It is usually used to hold funeral rites. It is easy to reach by public transport, car tends to be somewhat difficult to find different to the nearby Mall parking sites.

Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.
