Where to stay in Bogota

Many visitors to Bogota stay in La Candelaria, a colonial-era neighborhood in the city center where you can find plenty of decent hostels and mingle with tourists from around the globe. Staying in this area also puts you within walking distance of the city's major museums and best nightlife options. If you prefer to sleep in a quieter area and visit this busy district during the day, consider accommodations in the northern section of the city, which includes the upscale neighborhood Zona T.

  • A Great library, lovely children space to read and play, very good opportunities to share in family! And also have a simple but good enough restaurant Nd coffee in case you wanted
  • Really beautiful structure with great views. Too bad the guards say photography is not permitted. The Policía Nacional lets me take photos of the president's residence but I can't take pictures of the library? Give me a break.
  • The best architecture in this side of the city. This library has been part of the huge group of public libraries.
  • It's an amazing place to visit. No doubt it's one of the places that everybody have to visit if you want to know something about culture in Bogota
  • Beautiful building and peaceful environment. Love this kind of spacious architecture. Visiting Biblioteca Virgilio Barco in combination with Jardin Botanico is a very nice half-day spending. Just do it
