  • Masterpiece of architect Rogelio Salmona, who always used local bricks for his buildings. The library is located in a beautiful park with lake and nice paths for walking. Good plan for a relaxed day.  more »

  • Beautiful library infrastructure and green areas. Just in front of th3 simon bolivar park. I have spent many nights reading books here. It is spacious and comfortable to stay at. There is no wifi for phones though. You can still get free internet connection by using their computers. They have many rooms where they offer workshops and activities for all ages.
  • Beautiful place to read a book, study or hang out with friends
  • One of the most beautiful libraries in Bogotá, designed by the remarkable architect Rogelio Salmona, you can appreciate his aesthetic sense in this library. Also, its variety of books and calmness are amazing. It has parking for cars, motorbikes and bicycles
  • Beautiful library, with a remarkable architecture. Good place to visit and take pictures (some areas inside cannot be photographed).
  • As someone who can appreciate architecture, this is a wonderful building. I can only imagine someone who works or studies in the the architectural field would appreciate the design. There seems to be more public space than books. The floors and staircases are open-air. There's also alot of public art I really enjoyed. The library is surrounded by water and a park. Tip: make your way to the top of the building, which is a public space and outdoor theater. You get a panoramic view of the city and mountains. You're not allowed to take any photos in this area. A security guard said I wasn't allowed to take photos. When I asked the front desk about this, she said I needed special permission.
