Watch pink flamingos frolick at Zoo of the city of Barranquilla. Opened in 1956, the zoo houses several rare species, including one of the few remaining white tigers in the world. Walk through the small zoo's jungle paths to admire a range of native and exotic animals, kept in environments designed to replicate their natural habitats. While many of the animals live in reasonable conditions and are well attended to by zookeepers, several of the enclosures, such as those housing elephants and big cats, seem cramped and insufficient. • It is a zoo that is left within the city so it's easy to reach. It is funny, organized, make activities to which all attendees to participate and the people are very kind. Open from 9 a.m., you can have lunch there. Recommended for families!
