  • A place of absolute peace, the guide was very friendly and we had only paid the park entrance, it is enough for one morning you can breathe pure air and trails are well organized you can see some birds and we could even watch alligators, excellent interaction with nature, it is recommended to improve signage to find the Park are very small

  • It is a cute place to spot birds, may be the only one in the region manglero Hummingbird. The walk is not long and the path is impeccable, there is a beautiful viewpoint of birds as well as several trails. The entry is not very vsible. Recommendation: take water and something light to eat, because there is no nothing.

  • It is a very good option, to contemplate the nature and the beauty of this place, which is unique as it is a paradise where you can observe flora and fauna in a natural ecosystem of freshwater and salty, with a variety of mangrove. But it should be noted that the degree of neglect of the State towards this site is very high, the entrance is very difficult to find, many days of the year is closed, and not there is a minimum organization so that tourists can enjoy their journey, toca do so only leaving to explore, the site of the entrance you have to go by car. You must take a good repellent. It is a good visit.

Where to stay in Barranquilla

Equipped to host the largest festival in the country, Barranquilla has a good set of accommodations catering to a range of tastes, budgets, and interests. Either side of Carrera 46, find pristine chain hotels and smaller independent options with extensive amenities, such as rooftop swimming pools, modern spas, and popular restaurants. Look to the more residential areas for budget-friendly guesthouses, and consider booking a rental apartment if planning on a longer stay. Economical options cluster around Paseo Bolivar, but note the area can be rather sketchy. Be sure to reserve well in advance if planning on visiting for Mardi Gras in February.
