Malecon Leon Caridi, Barranquilla

(3.5/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
Take a leisurely stroll along the river at Malecon Leon Caridi, a pier stretching 700 m (2,297 ft). Walking along the shore you'll see plenty of benches, so bring a book along in case you want to take a short break. Bird enthusiasts should bring a camera for the pelicans and other water birds in high numbers along the boardwalk. As the area is still under development, touristic services and restaurants are not aplenty here so pack some lunch. Use our Barranquilla itinerary builder to add Malecon Leon Caridi and other attractions to your Barranquilla vacation plans.

  • It is still not finished, only has a kiosk available and only sells soft drinks and chips, even so you can enjoy a bit of Breeze from the river and a nice view. Sundays and public holidays can be reached by transmetro in the B2 route of barranquillita departing every hour.
