Camino Real, Barichara
(4.6/5 based on 190 reviews on the web)
Take a relaxing stroll at Camino Real, a picturesque nature trail where you'll come across a variety of wildlife and plant life. Species of bird, goats, and cows, can be seen grazing and milling around on the gentle, mostly downhill walk. The paved road is not in the best condition, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear for the excursion, and bring plenty of water. Take a camera along to capture the panoramic views. Put Camino Real and other Barichara attractions into our Barichara trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Lovely small colonial path that connects Barichara, Guane, as well as two villages to the charm that are worth a visit. The return can be done by bus (2000 pesos) because it rises quite in the sense of Barichara-Guane. I also advise to go there pretty early in the morning and with a lot of water because the Sun is strong!

  • Travel is nice, but the floor is paved and very difficult to walk. It is essential to wear suitable shoes. The descent from Barichara is hard knee and ankle-threatening. If it's the exercise, lower to Guane in moto-taxi and take a tour of ascent.
