Take a relaxing stroll at Camino Real, a picturesque nature trail where you'll come across a variety of wildlife and plant life. Species of bird, goats, and cows, can be seen grazing and milling around on the gentle, mostly downhill walk. The paved road is not in the best condition, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear for the excursion, and bring plenty of water. Take a camera along to capture the panoramic views. Put Camino Real and other Barichara attractions into our Barichara trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • I was a little skeptic with respect to do this route and after a start of morning walking the streets, at the end we made the decision. Even though we had warned that it was better to get up early, by the strong sun, started the tour taking 2 precautions: 1. anti-sunburn good and 2. Water and food to keep us hydrated. The first 200 meters are perhaps the most maluca road part, because it is descending by these irregular rocks. But then it starts to put on farms and topdo is beautiful: made in stone fences, vegetation, Breeze, landscapes and above all the friendliness of all who travel the road. At the end go to Guane is the jackpot: streets in stone with the white houses on either side we have both seen in pictures and postcards and that solitary and quiet village in the midst of this canon are a gift for the soul. I recommend that you go to every corner, it's not very big and if they are looking for well by the side of the paddocks you will find a beautiful viewpoint in stone. Great recommendation: when they addressed the bus back to Barichara, take one of the chairs forward and let foreigners feel back.
