Camino Real, Barichara
(4.6/5 based on 180 reviews on the web)
Take a relaxing stroll at Camino Real, a picturesque nature trail where you'll come across a variety of wildlife and plant life. Species of bird, goats, and cows, can be seen grazing and milling around on the gentle, mostly downhill walk. The paved road is not in the best condition, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear for the excursion, and bring plenty of water. Take a camera along to capture the panoramic views. Put Camino Real and other Barichara attractions into our Barichara trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Totally recommended. It is a route of an hour and a half to two hours of walking. Don't forget water and some nuts to eat. The scenery is spectacular, the silence only broken by the sounds of nature is fascinating, just you come across other walkers, by what you truly enjoy everything. But this activity. not be by that administration, but should be enhanced as a value of Barichara and area. This poorly signposted, so to get to it, as in the own way and then in Guane, could care more all the surroundings in the village.

  • I have to admit that they brought me deluded... after walking, with a good hat, sunscreen and water bottle and the company talking the walk is quite nice, is for lovers of trekking. The bad was that turn brought me by the same way, but is on the rise... that is for experts, but if I did... you also may. It is advisable to take special tennis or mountain shoes for walking safely

  • bring water for approximately 11/2 hour hike. very safe to be with the family. Once you get to Guane is taken back a bus which runs every hour and is worth $2000 pesos up to barichara, I recommend it
