  • For me it was really nice to visit the House and remind me of the parts of a hundred years ago dr loneliness that had just finished reading! The experience is more interesting for those who know the works of the author and can make relations with the stories told of the House/Museum.

  • Feels amazing, since you're getting close to the village vibe of Gabo, if you're a fan of his books you can't miss it, the Museum has many parts of the books of truth that you moved, the guide was a girl who knew a lot from all the books incredible, their explanations of truth that I loved, at the exit of the Museum, a guide led us through the village, the church there was a funeral that reminded me of "the big mama's funeral", and then we went to the train station, the guide was good , the voluntary contribution. Don't let go, I felt completely within Macondo, from the best experiences of life

  • The treasures and the Gabo Macondiano world are gathered in this House converted into a museum which allows you to make a trip to the memory of the illustrious son of Aracataca, (Department of Magdalena) and of course of the Colombia macondian Gabo reflected in his books. The treasures and the Gabo´s "Macondian" world are gathered in this house converted into a museum that allows to make a trip to the memory of the illustrious Aracataca´Son, (Department of Magdalena) and of his position of the Macondian Colombia that Gabo reflected in his books. The House is not original but if reflects the spirit inspiring the writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez while we go through every corner of the House and their relics to find that "magic realism". • The only bad part of this house is that its a replica and not the real thing. This is a necessary stop for any Gabriel Garcia Marque fanatic. He grew up here. This was the inspiration for 100 years of Solitude (or for many years named "The House" because it was the lives of his grandparents and aunts and cousins which were the basis for the Buendia family)
  • A lovely place to visit. Memorial to a great writer. GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ
  • It's a great historical place
  • Sadly all showed things are replicas
  • Super
