The different parts of the House are contextualized with fragments of the work of don Gabo very suitable to each place, what makes one feel truly covering part of his life and his literary works. The visit made me reread one hundred years of solitude and live to tell the tale.

There are replicas of the elements used in the House of his childhood which gives interesting details of the writer, inspired are also in several of his books. The village is small, is very hot. The attention of the staff there is unmatched. The entrance is free.
The only bad part of this house is that its a replica and not the real thing. This is a necessary stop for any Gabriel Garcia Marque fanatic. He grew up here. This was the inspiration for 100 years of Solitude (or for many years named "The House" because it was the lives of his grandparents and aunts and cousins which were the basis for the Buendia family)
A lovely place to visit. Memorial to a great writer. GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ
Good location, free access, friendly guides, is traversed in a short time. From the via Santa Marta takes five minutes you get, so it is a good plan to integrate it to the trip to the coast.
It is the House where was born the most large Colombian writer. Magical realism comes out afloat when the guides explain them as it was every fact in every room
