  • From the rodadero Santa Marta until (Center) took an urban bus by 1,400 and from there a bus to the company saloon Aracataca (or Berlinave, is the same) by 12,000. The bus clean, comfortable and safe. From the bus terminal, I took a taxi to the central square of Aracataca, and from there toured the district, so beautiful and full of stories, with Macondo from the foundations. The House Museum García Márquez is located one block from the plaza. Income is "at will" even though not paid the contribution, which is used to keep the home in good condition. One block from the square but for the opposite direction, you will find the House of the Telegraph, but mindful of because it closes at noon and reopen its doors at 2 pm. In Aracataca is also the possibility of moving on foot or by bike, two much cheaper options. To return to Santa Marta (Centre) took a bus from sedans by 12,000.

  • The writer's parents ' House, where he lived as a child, rebuilt with period furniture following some of his descriptions. Visit of the village where you can imagine the places described in his books, especially the Macondo in "one hundred years of solitude"
