Zhoushan Taohua Island, Zhoushan

4.4
Feel the paradise vibes at Zhoushan Taohua Island, an island in the Zhoushan archipelago boasting dramatic rocky terrain, verdant natural landscapes, and traditional Buddhist architecture. The island came to fame for its role in Louis Cha's "Condor" trilogy of novels, and was used as a location for the television adaptation. The island also lays claim to the highest mountain in the archipelago, Anqi Peak, which provides hikers with panoramic views of the surrounding islands from its 540 m (1770 ft) summit. Look out for Dafo Rock, the largest of its kind to be found in southeast coastal areas of China, and a symbol of the island. As well as hiking trails through dramatic terrain, the island also offers the 1,000-year-old Baique Temple for the history inclined, and a 1,370 m (4,495 ft) long, 400 m (1,310 ft) wide beach (again the largest in the archipelago), perfect for swimmers and sunbathers. • Compared to the popular mountain, peach blossom island a little too quiet. This may also benefit when gave us a walking tour around the island, feels very cozy! The breeze, the taste of the sea make people feel happy. Heaven sword and Dragon Sabre sword shoot on the island, although the series was a long time ago, here still feel very excited. Unforgettable tour!

  • This island is not what it used to be, however, it is still a beautiful island with great scenery. Make sure to come when the peach blossoms are blooming.  more »
