  • The scale of this project is incredible. Running 32 turbines, the 3 gorges dam project makes a vast contribution to China's energy needs. 1.5 million people were displaced to make way for the project....  more »
  • Giant structure. Technology and design very well at the visitor centre explains. There are escalators to the viewpoint. A special highlight is the passage through the 5-step sheath (approx. 3 h). Really very interesting.
