Yangtze River, China
(3.1/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Known as the world's third largest river, Yangtze River represents a historic, economic, and cultural hub for the entire Chinese nation. With the length of 6,380 km (3,964 mi), the river traverses through eleven provinces and pours itself into the East China Sea, where Shanghai--currently one of biggest metropolises on the planet--resides. Book a cruise ship to observe how the natural, climactic, and cultural scenery changes as you head from the mainland toward the sea. As you sail the characteristically yellow river, you can visit a substantial amount of attractions and many protected nature reserves. Make Yangtze River a centerpiece of your Lanzhou vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Lanzhou vacation route planner.

  • Great cruise (4 nights) on the Yangtze River with very interesting stops. Of the three Gorges dam on the Shennong Creek and the Shibaozhai pagoda up to the ghost town at Fengdu you can make many trips with. A trip per day is inclusive. The three gorges themselves are stunning and very interesting. To the ship: we had the 5 Star ship "Mr. President No7". A great, well maintained ship on the Yangtze River. Meals plenty and very tasty. In the bar the evening entertainment by the ship's crew. Staff friendly and very attentive (especially in the drinks at meals). Interesting things about ship speakers have been told other attractions along the river. The rooms are well furnished - all with balcony. The bathroom know everything on what is needed. Conclusion: Great region to the explore - the ship Mr President No7 is highly recommended.
