Bridge Tourist Spot
Forget your problems and kick back at Yulong Bridge. The largest single-arch bridge in the province adds to the calm, scenic beauty typical of the area, and offers a good insight into the Ming dynasty’s architectural style and achievements. Admire the 36 m (118 ft) long simple bridge, which for around 400 years has arched over the jade-colored river surrounded by hills and bamboo forests. Reach the bridge with a bike or by taking a long hike, or try the popular pastime of bamboo rafting on the river. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Yangshuo County holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yulong Bridge and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • This old bridge is unique and colourful - with the river filled with bamboo rafts... so a good place to drift down the river and an easy walk back  more »
  • We visited this bridge that is also known as the "Dragon Bridge" on a bike ride with our guide Amy. We had a delcious lunch with Osmanthus tea at the cafe beside the bridge.  more »
  • It's fine to pass through on our rafting trip, but full of tourists and rafts are fine but why do they have such ugly umbrellas and poorly constructed modern buildings  more »

  • Beautiful stone bridge with unforgettable sunsets. Not to be missed.
  • Yulong village has a beautiful ancient stone arch bridge and is a good starting point for rafting trip down Yulong River. You can get there easily from Yangshou by taking buses north towards Guilin or Yangdi to the city of Baisha and then a local taxi, three wheeler or motorcycle taxi (at the only stoplight int he city). Yulong village is about four kilometers west of Baisha.
