Yulong Bridge, Yangshuo County

(3.3/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Forget your problems and kick back at Yulong Bridge. The largest single-arch bridge in the province adds to the calm, scenic beauty typical of the area, and offers a good insight into the Ming dynasty’s architectural style and achievements. Admire the 36 m (118 ft) long simple bridge, which for around 400 years has arched over the jade-colored river surrounded by hills and bamboo forests. Reach the bridge with a bike or by taking a long hike, or try the popular pastime of bamboo rafting on the river. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Yangshuo County holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Yulong Bridge and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • See this while on a bamboo raft on Yulong river. Dont think it requires a separate visit unless you are hiking on the Yulong river side.  more »
  • A famous bridge because here the images on one of the wallpapers for Windows. Gorgeous scenery and scenery very quiet, away from the Li river traffic.

  • Yulong village has a beautiful ancient stone arch bridge and is a good starting point for rafting trip down Yulong River. You can get there easily from Yangshou by taking buses north towards Guilin or Yangdi to the city of Baisha and then a local taxi, three wheeler or motorcycle taxi (at the only stoplight int he city). Yulong village is about four kilometers west of Baisha.
