Once the largest settlement along the Li River, Xing Ping now thrives as a fishing town, bursting with history and a local hub on market days. Established in 265 CE, the old village offers a glimpse of traditional Lingnan life and architecture, with 48 preserved residences to walk around at your leisure. Head to the water's edge for a scenic hike along the shore, or set off on a river excursion.   • We took a small boat for 30 minutes with one of the stops was the mountain that is drawn on the 20 Yuan tickets. The "drivers" were funny at always repeating "Hello, bamboo" to sell us the crossing.
