Xiamen Piano Museum, Xiamen

Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Learn about the history of the instrument and its relevance to the local culture at Xiamen Piano Museum, a two-story building within a wider garden and cultural complex. The building itself looks like a quirky take on a piano, with the white beamed conservatory at the front representing keys, and the sloped roof the body. The collection of over 100 pianos includes a French barrel piano, a grand piano that once sat in a British palace, as well as a very confusing corner piano. Listen to piano music as you go through the exhibit, learning about the instruments themselves as well as the island, often nicknamed "Piano Island." • The Museum is small, with the year took 20 minutes. I am not a musician, but watch the exhibits was interesting. The story was clear even at the household level.

  • 博物館裡有很多漂亮的鋼琴,應該是以前的有錢人的收藏,位於蔣菽花園的上面,館內是禁止攝影的,需要注意。
  • A lot of trendy organ made of wood were exhibited. Especially music stands are very nice and worth seeing is I thought. It was nice in house building itself is also respectable.
