Xiamen Botanical Garden, Xiamen

#3 of 52 in Parks in Xiamen
Set in the Wanshi Mountains, Xiamen Botanical Garden represents one of the most distinct (and popular) gardens in southern China. Over 20 botanical zones featuring over 6,300 varieties of tropical and subtropical plants span some 5 sq km (1.9 sq mi), offering a number of hiking trails. A 25-minute cable car ride and a large observation deck provide views of Wanshi Lake and scenic spots within the gardens. Stroll the grounds, or rent a golf buggy to help get around. Highlights include notable collections of cacti, succulent plants, and rainforest vegetation. Xiamen Botanical Garden is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Xiamen Edition.

There is nothing unusual in the Park. The same as all parks in China. Next to it there is a cableway, she goes to the University and back. Cost 50 Yuan per person. It's worth a ride, because offers beautiful views of Xiamen

One-day travel around, so far. Little mountain one whole Botanical Garden; As well as the botanical gardens, and some temples from ancient explore while trekking. Explore the botanical gardens to be honest, rather than trekking is. I can't go up to where you need to not be sneakers. Sore legs were women undressing sandals. The view is best is not much high ground. While resting at the top can't do not bring cold drinks and food was excellent. If you are confident on foot, come and look round mountain!! ️, like a gondola, is it good. Incidentally many bugs so long pants are required. I short became worse in the pan.

Big Nice garden with a large variety of plants from all over the world. Only some areas still remain damaged after a Typhoon visited 6 months ago.

It was in China. The place was so clean and no trash anywhere. The other tourists were friendly. I enjoyed seeing the plants and only regretted not knowing the name of each one
