Qing Long Si, Xi'an

3.6
#7 of 22 in Museums in Xi'an
Learn about Chinese Buddhism at Qing Long Si, built by members of the Tang dynasty in 582 CE. Having suffered damage and destruction over its long history, today the temple represents a mid 20th-century reconstruction of the Tang architectural style. Visit the memorial halls for former monks, as well as exhibits with objects excavated from the area. Take a walk or simply sit on one of the benches in the park that surrounds the temple. Since monks live and pray there, not all parts of the site are accessible to tourists. Qing Long Si is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Xi'an Edition.

  • Qing Long Si is really a small temple located in Tielumio village, bit outside the city so a good day trip.  more »
  • In China Xian cheap tours went to the seashore with the training of Kukai. During the day of Kukai's movie premieres 12/22 than in China, I thought surely I'm excited when, or nothing at all but they also. After hearing the description of the seashore with Lady of the guide of the temple, was ushered into the shop. Kukai's edge is very high, so you can buy stuff was not. In particular, nokyo-Sho is about 1500 Yen in Japan, but seashore with nokyo-sho book is very good in good, Hui and Kukai's farewell scene picture and written on the backside of the temple at Sutra was written after. I gave up the price say 9000 yen, so wanted to hear and buy. If you at least 5000 Yen I would buy! Sorry!! ️

Where to stay in Xi'an

As in most Chinese cities, the least expensive places to stay in Xi'an concentrate around the main train station. To stay in a quieter and safer area, look for rooms in or near the city center, where you can choose between mid-range hotels and affordable youth hostels catering to backpackers and other travelers on a budget. Tourists with bargaining experience can usually get deeply discounted rooms through agents working the shuttle bus station at the airport. If you'd rather avoid dealing with touts, book your accommodations ahead.
