Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, Xi'an

(200+ reviews on the web)
Historic Site
See the burial mound of the emperor who unified China over 2,000 years ago at Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a still-unexplored part of a World Heritage Site. Included in some tours of the famous Terra Cota Museum nearby, the site offers a large tranquil park with archeological works and a small memorial marking the tomb of Qin Shi Huang. You will walk on a paved path in a large park, where you can observe some birds and see a pomegranate orchard next door. In fact, the whole area has thrived with pomegranates since ancient times. Towards the exit, you will see carved stone murals depicting the life and death of the emperor, with some information plaques in English around the site. Take a look at our Xi'an family vacation planner to schedule your visit to Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • I went to after seeing the terracotta warriors Museum. There are free shuttle bus service from Terra Cotta Warriors Museum. KFC and Mac on the left looking pretty walked up to the bus stop. On the bus ", Shi Huangdi Crest," and don't worry about straying from the writing, everyone is lined up. It is OK if you show when you get Museum tickets. I went, we quite a walk within the mausoleum. Also clearly which parts are whole Crest, is not "Shi Huangdi's Tomb", so in certain spots... and we expect "!? "That thing will be. Once, stands the monument around the whole Crest (grave) is from. Cart station and 15 is not only building actually excavated from the ride and you can reach the building watching is digging small holes, interesting. And from that, however, won't you try to understand whole Crest size and atmosphere, not recommended, can never be. You want to say rather go look at once.

  • Located in Lintong district about 30 kilometers (Linton) eastward from the Xian Qin began Huang terracotta warriors Museum. And because it can be reached by shuttle bus had the power at the time of the biggest mausoleum of Qin Shi Huangdi is located a bit away from the topic, but this to go if I would take. Centerfolds Huangdi is asleep here, a little walk from the bus stop is vast in Tomb I think-me and come. And buses frequently to the Museum from the Xi'an railway station and can easily be reached.

  • Tour and 360 Yuan more. In the individual frequent buses from the Xi'an railway station East square. Buses go in the «5. 7 Yuan, is one hour fast. 914 and 8 is an hour and a half because it is way below the original. If possible, into the opening at 混mimysenn. → 1 → 3 → pit no. 2 → the Pavilion cinema order is recommended. Exhibit fulfillment pit no. 2. Rent audio guide in the No.1 pit entrance. Deposit 100 Yuan return: return. But is Chinese or English. I'd ask on the shuttle I forgot to go to the Museum.

  • Just a big park, nothing special indeed. The guides there were crazy, :-), they first organized the crowd of visitors pretty formally, then led us through the gate which was about 50 meters away from where we were gathered, then told us that we should explore the park ourselves, LOL!
