#1 of 34 in Parks in Xi'an
Hot Spring · Hidden Gem · Historic Site
Lying at the foot of Mount Li, Huaqing Palace have been a significant bathing site for some 3,000 years. Although the complex dates back to a much earlier period, much of the site you see today was constructed by the Tang Dynasty in 723. Wind you way through a scattering of imperial bathing pools and palace quarters, surrounded by cedar trees and delicate lotus flowers floating on the spring's surface. At the exhibit hall, revel in daily performances of dances from the Tang period, coupled with a traditional tea ceremony. • Very nice! Temples to tour the beautiful outdoors. Great place to explore either solo or with some friends!
  • good place for sideseeing. the park is quite big and historical
  • Best Hotel I ever visited! Hot spring outdoor bath, lovely theater with the most high tech stage I ever seen, crazy good buildings and epic scenery basically a place for emperors to relax at but to a commoners price. Dinner is very good and at same price as neighbouring restaurants. I will come back here many more times! Worth every penny!
  • Glad to go and nice Tea House
  • Used to be an extremely beautiful and serene garden but the mass of visitors has turned this into an overdeveloped tourist trap.
